Earlybird Venture Capital invests in three new portfolio companies

Press Release

Earlybird Venture Capital today announces the funding of three new portfolio companies. The altogether high single-digit million euro investment is made in the sectors Cleantech, Consumer Internet and Scalable IT-Services.

  • Ubitricity: charging infrastructure and services for e-mobility

Virtual charging network that can turn every electric socket into a charging point for electric cars. With very little upfront investment, public and private operators of parking areas will be in the position to offer a scalable and future-proof charging infrastructure.

  • CrowdPark: social forecasting game based on electronic prediction market technology

Multi-platform game allowing users to bet, with virtual currency, on the outcome of any type of thinkable event ranging from sports, society and science based on editorial and user generated content. Unlike traditional betting mechanisms users can constantly trade within their positions as in a stock market.

  • B2X: provider of END-TO-END outsourcing solutions in the area of after sales / CUSTOMER CARE services for consumer electronics and CAPITAL GOODS

B2X enables OEMs to significantly reduce their aftersales costs by managing, without owning, a global network of logistic providers and repair shops achieving best in-industry cost and quality KPIs through constant benchmarking and optimization.
