Private equity and venture capital in Europe

Private equity and venture capital is a source of finance and strategic support for companies across Europe. As well capitalized, patient investors, private equity firms can provide companies with fuel for growth; best-practice corporate governance, and time to invest for the future. The industry's investment capital and expertise supports innovation and, over the long term, the creation of new jobs and markets.

Private equity is also a rare source of turnaround capital, helping failing firms to refinance and recover. The proceeds private equity makes for its investors fuel pension funds, charitable trusts and government tax revenues.EVCAlogo-small
